Q1 Howdoesthe device update positioning data?
This device is not equipped with GPS or cellular modules. It relies on crowdsourced network positioning. Nearby mobile phones with compatible finding functions anonymously forward device location to the cloud. There is no fixed positioning update cycle.

Q2 Howtoconfirm the device is powered on? Turn the vehicle key to ON and measure the voltage across red & black power wires with a multimeter; a reading of 5–36V means the device is powered on. Log in to the bound APP. Real-time location updates indicate normal Bluetooth broadcast. No location records over long periods signal faulty wiring or power loss.

Q3 Slow or failed location updates Signal forwarding phones are scarce in underground parking lots, tunnels and remote low-traffic roads. Position updates are faster in crowded areas with heavy vehicle flow. Drive the vehicle to open public areas such as shopping malls and wait 3–10 minutes before refreshing the page if no location data appears for a long time.

Q4 Hot power cables or joints Overheating is caused by exposed terminals or loose connections. Re-seal joints with heat shrink tubing. Replace wires immediately if insulation is damaged.

Q5 Device remains active after vehicle shutdown and key removal This occurs when the ACC line is mistakenly connected to permanent power. Rewire to the standard ACC circuit to resolve.
